Get Involved
There are many ways to support and get involved with the Kids Are Priority One Coalition.
- Join the Coalition: When you add your name to the list of supporters, you help us show policy-makers that Vermonters want to invest in child development services that work. Endorsers are automatically added to the e-network. Click here to submit your name.
- Join the Coalition's E-Network: Email updates and alerts will keep you informed by letting you know about important developments that affect children and critical opportunities to speak out. We keep them short, and you won't receive more than 4-5 per month (unless things are moving fast and furiously at the legislature, in which case you might receive a few more than that.) Submit your name and email address on the left, then click "Join".
- Lend A Hand: There are many ways to get involved in the Kids Are Priority One Coalition, from participating in a statewide Work Group to testifying at a legislative hearing or writing a letter to the editor. For more information, contact Kim Friedman, Organizing Director, at (802) 348-9879 or kfriedman@svcable.net.
- Make A Presentation: Use the Kids Are Priority One Coalition's short video on child development to spread the word about the importance of the early years with a group in your community or workplace. Contact Kim Friedman at (802) 348-9879 or kfriedman@svcable.net to discuss talking points and ideas.
- Make a donation. Make checks payable to: KAP1/VOICES and send them to VAEYC, Attn: Melissa Riegel-Garrett, P.O. Box 464, Waterbury, VT 05676.
