Get Involved

There are many ways to support the work of the Kids Are Priority One Coalition and to get involved.

  • Endorse the Kids Are Priority One Coalition: When you add your name to the list of supporters, you help us show policy-makers that Vermonters want to invest in child development services that work. Endorsers are automatically added to the e-network.
  • Join Our E-Network: Our email updates and alerts will keep you informed by letting you know about important developments that affect children and critical opportunities to speak out. We keep them short, and you won't receive more than 4-5 per month (unless things are moving fast and furiously at the legislature, in which case you might receive a few more than that.) Just fill in your name and email address on the left, then click "Join our e-network!".
  • Lend A Hand: There are many ways to get involved in the Kids Are Priority One Coalition, from subscribing to our e-network to participating in a statewide Work Group to testifying at a legislative hearing to writing a letter to the editor. For more information, contact Kim Friedman, Organizing Director, at (802) 348-9879 or kfriedman@svcable.net.
  • Make a donation. We depend on your support! Your tax-deductible donation helps us get the word out to the community and policymakers. Make checks payable to: KAP1/WCCA and send them to WCCA, Attn: Kim Friedman, 130 Birge Street, Brattleboro, VT 05301.
