The Finance Project was terminated in October 2006 due to several significant factors which impeded progress, notably lack of synchronicity with the development of Building Bright Futures and the need for more data on current early childhood spending. The Kids Are Priority One Coalition has issued an Early Childhood Finance Working Paper (see below), which summarizes the work of the project Advisory Committee as well as the finance strategies researched during the Finance Project.
